The Indian Institute of Management @ Bangalore (IIM-B) seeks to recruit two faculty positions for the Decision Sciences Area. We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in (i) convex/nonconvex optimization and its interface with machine learning methods; and (ii) big data analytics, particularly natural language processing, neural nets, deep learning, etc. Candidates who can showcase their research relevance to an underlying business context would be preferred. The candidates will be expected to teach courses at the MBA/Ph.D. levels either in nonlinear programming or in big data analytics.
