Columbia Business School is seeking one or more Staff Associates in the division of Decision, Risk, and Operations. Under the Director of the Deming Center, the staff associate will conduct applied research in the entrepreneurship landscape in Africa, help develop new programs and teaching materials, help write business case studies and work on special projects for Decision, Risk, and Operations faculty.

Master’s degree in either Engineering and/or Business required. Fluency in English required.

Overall knowledge of curriculum of business degrees is necessary with focus in operations research, data analytics. 

QUALIFICATIONS:
Good knowledge of the business environment in Africa
Acquaintance with the entrepreneurial eco-system in Africa 
Fluency in French and/or Arabic preferred (both would be ideal) 
Minimum 3 years of work experience required
